-The timer workout contains a timer that will inform you when the round/rest starts and finishes.Also there is a sound that marks the end and start of the round/rest.
-The reps workout type work by pressing Done on the bottom of the exercise,and when you want to start the exercise to to press begin.

This is a wonderful app! The exercises are intensive but you will definitely see results if you follow the plans. One thing that I love about this app is the fact that it can make a plan specific to you based on your fitness goals or you can use the plans already on the app. Also if you just want to work a specific body part; it show exercises for that as well. Most importantly, you don’t (necessarily) have to buy any equipment to use and or accel.
Im coming from being a 2 year subscriber with Freeletics. I loved Freeletics, the coach was fairly intuitive and I did see great result but each workout became too repetitive and I think I hit a wall as far as being motivated. Plus it was a pretty penny. I’ve only used Spartan for 2 days but so far I like how they incorporate the dumbbells and jump rope. I wish there weren’t so many breaks in between sets but I usually skip them to complete a circuit. Excited to see how my body transforms!
Seems to be a very good fitness app definitely one of the best I’ve come accross. I like the reminders and different types of excercises you can do even without equipment. I’m sure it will get me back into shape in no time
